Who is changing ur due date? Even if baby is measuring A few days ahead or behind the doctor won’t just change ur due date.

Thank you for everyone who voted and commented! My first doctor was horrible and wouldn’t explain anything to me. They told me I needed to be 8 weeks for my first appointment, but when I went in (at what I thought was 8 weeks) they said based on your sonogram you can’t be more than 6 weeks along (even though they didn’t even do a transvaginal, just on the top). So they changed my due date from June 19th to July 1st. That doctor then proceeded to tell me “Well it’s just REALLY REALLY small. We will schedule your next appointment for 12 weeks, but just wait and see what happens these next two weeks because they have the highest risk of miscarriage. If anything changes, just call and cancel your appointment.” That’s when I knew I needed to change doctors. I went to my 12 week appointment there but requested my files to be transferred to a midwife group I was recommended. At my first appointment with my new midwife, they told me my last doctor didn’t even change the dates on the paperwork even though they made it a huge deal to me. I don’t have another sonogram until February (the picture is from a separate facility who isn’t allowed to give measurements, it was just to see baby) but my midwife assured me they will be measuring again to give me answers on how far along exactly am I. Thank you again for commenting and answering, this has been such a confusing time and I just want everything to be okay with my LO. ❤️

I was told docs don’t change due date even if baby is measuring ahead🤷🏻‍♀️ who is changing your date?

Baby can measure ahead or behind, but unless it’s a big discrepancy in the first trimester (say 2+ weeks) your estimated due date shouldn’t change...
