Appropriate age to get nails done?!!

What’s an appropriate she to let young girl start getting nails done?? ... my daughter birthday is  coming up and she’ll be 11 years old and what’s an manicure !..?

Personally, I think a mani/pedi either/or would be just fine as soon as they’re old enough to want it and be cooperative 🤷🏻‍♀️ now acrylics or even gel is a no for me until you’re old enough to pay for it and understand how destructive that can be to your natural nail, but that’s just me.

I think it’s a mani pedi fun thing to do at any age! Personally I’d wait a few more years before letting my kid get acrylics though.

2 is when I'd start, if he or she wanted their nails painted. 
I'm a nanny and I paint 2 year olds nails all the time and the parents think it's adorable.

My mother allows my baby sister (10) to get polish at 10 . I wasn't allowed acrylics till 16+ even though I didn't want them back then 😂

I think 11 is a good age for just a manicure. I wouldn’t do acrylics until like 16-17

My girls were about 3 when they started going to the salon for polish. I haven’t let my 9 year old get gel or anything else yet...
