how many months ahead do you buy your babies clothes?

like for the next size, i just been stocking up on different sizes, my mom thinks it’s weird

I bought 12 months when my daughter was still in newborn. I didn’t buy a ton but a fair amount. I buy what’s in clearance at the end of the season so I get a ton for a lot cheaper. My daughter is in 12 months right now, I’ve been purchasing winter clothing in 2t right now. I bought some 18 month summer stuff a couple months ago but I did get some clearance summer stuff.

I dont. But I go to a second hand store anytime we need to move up a size. $30-$50 gets us a pretty good amount of clothes. Plus we get clothes every birthday and Christmas (June and December) from family. Its not a bad thing to be prepared, but you never when they will move up. My daughter wore newborn and 3 month clothes until 2 months. 6 months clothes until 4 months. 9 month clothes until 6 months. 12 month clothes until she was 9 or 10 months. 18 month clothes until a year old. 24 month clothes until 17 months. At 17 months we moved to 2T. I guess all that was to say dont worry about the smaller sizes as much. They move out of them quick.

I don’t. I buy newborn and 0-3 and then start buying as they grow. I can tell when something is starting not to fit so I buy the next size and try it on. If it’s better then I buy some more and get rid of the small stuff

I bought up to 12 months when I was pregnant. Baby is still on 0-3 but we're set for the next size up. So I'll stock up on more 6-9 month and 12month next. I buy a lot of clearance and second hand stuff.

Any time... if stuff is on sale, like end of season clearance, pick it up. If you think it’s cute, pick it up. Anything goes! And if people have something to say to you about it then they’re the weird ones 😉💕

I buy as needed. He was 9 pounds when he was born, and the longest little string bean now. At 21 months, he can still wear 12 month in the waist, but needs 2T for length. It just isn’t worth guessing.

I just went to a consignment store and bought 3T clothes for my girl - 5 pairs of shorts, 5 pairs of pants, 10 shirts, and a couple dresses. 
Last year I ran into the situation where stores were closed and the mail was super slow. So I don’t care now about buying at the time, I’m buying a little early. It’s cold, and my girl wears 2T now, but by April she’ll be in 3T.
