Anyone have a lazy man?

Like you ask him to do something and he waits DAYS and finally you just get fed up and do it or someone else kindly does it and then your man gets pissed cause they didn’t do it “right”?? Like I’m about to smack this man with some appreciation and hopefully it sticks. I’m so annoyed. We’re definitely polar opposites. It’s happened so much. He refused to shovel the laneway and finally our neighbor kindly did it and the man couldn’t even say thank you?! I went over and said thank you of course. And he wouldn’t put salt on the deck so my dad just did it and now he’s mad that he put too much salt?! I mean at least he was nice enough to do it. Don’t even get me started about asking him to take heavy stuff downstairs. I wait a week until I cave and do it myself. I have a baby, toddler and a hernia. I’m so tired of him right now. I just need to rant lol he’s a good dad and good man he’s just so lazy and unappreciative. What do I even do about it?

Sounds like he’s just lazy and then when someone else does his “job” he gets offended so he critiques it. All I’d say would be “if you could do it better you should’ve then” and leave it at that. I’d also bring up that you’re so grateful for your dad and neighbor for helping when you need it. Seriously show him he’s wrong.

My hubby was the same way. But then I decided I didn’t care how he reacted. If he got mad to bad he still needed to do it. Now he does it the first time I ask.

Must husband has to be asked multiple times if I need him to do something. 🙄 and then if I ask too much he gets mad. I’m like well you could’ve just did it to begin with! I know he works all day but sometimes things need to be dealt with at home too. Ahhhhh!!
