I feel like I'm going insane right now. My 13 month old son is OBSESSED with the recycling and the dog food bowls. He will be constantly trying to pick out kibbles or take garbage out of the recycling bins. We have no place else to put them right now so I can't move them. I've tried verbally telling him no, we don't touch the garbage/dog food, I've tried picking him up and moving him away, I've tried blocking him with my body, I've tried distracting him with toys, I've tried loud, deep voice scolding, I've even tried giving his hand a little smack when he touches it, but NOTHING works. This has been going on for MONTHS. I am literally out of ideas. And he always has a meltdown when I take him away from it.
