Oily hair yet severely dry scalp?

It's driving me insane and makes me feel so icky and nasty what to do for it?

Might be from overwashing, I know it's gross, but try to just wash your hair once or twice a week with a natural and sensitive shampoo. You could wash it on a Friday and then wait till Monday morning to wash again to start. It'll be kinda yucky to start off, but it's so worth it.

Maybe try a DIY mask and only apply to scalp. I have the opposite problem (dry hair oily scalp) so I use it all over. I mix Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, and honey together in a mixing bowl (can get cheap at Sally's Beauty Supply) and use the brush and my fingers to get it all over my scalp. Leave it on as long as you choose, even over night if you want. I do it once a week usually on day 3 or 4 hair (I try to only wash it once a week if possible) and leave it in a braid or a bun for as long as possible. Even two days if I don't have anywhere to go. I wash it, let it air dry and then flat iron (sometimes, I'm trying to cut back!). It comes out hydrated, shiny and healthy looking without being greasy or oily.
