Went in yesterday thought I was 5wks 6dys but I’m 5wks 3dys and there’s no yolk sac or baby . Anyone else have this issue with your first scan ?

I did and all they seen was a sac but 2 weeks later baby was there and healthy. As you see in first picture it’s only a sec

Yes!! I was 5 weeks 5 days and they didn’t see anything besides gestational sac. Went at 7 weeks 5 days and there was a healthy baby!!

Its too early to see anything. Thats why they usually make you wait until 8 or 12 weeks for a dating scan..

Me! I was suppose to be 6 weeks and 3 days today but when I went in for my ultrasound I was only measuring 5 week & 5 days and we couldn’t see the baby yet..I thought I did after I started playing around with the picture on my phone and brightened it up but I figured if it was the baby the ultrasound technician would have seen it..here the pictures

That's still really early to see much of anything and why doctors usually don't do ultrasounds that early. Did they schedule you to go back in a week or two?

Did they do internal or external ultrasound cuz at 5 week wont see really anything if its external
