How do I stop binge eating!!

The way I stopped binge eating was whenever I would think I was hungry, I would ask myself if I was really hungry. Or I would ditract myself by reading or writing or even drawing. And thinking about how binge eating doesn't help me lose any weight. And eating smaller portions will help me to be healthy. I hope this helps

Drink an 8oz glass of water when you feel like hitting the fridge. If you're hungry the water aids digestion and helps you detox from sugar and excess salts causing cravings. A glass of water before your meal makes for less room in your tummy (works better than a diet pill) so you'll feel full when you're full. Or a glass of hot tea with lemon and honey to curb a craving with a hand full of mixed nuts (almonds are a personal favorite). Keep looking for suggestions! I've had success with the water technique, going for walks before i even get hangry enough to raid the fridge, and meditation on the feeling and the present when Im hungry. Sometimes its the body's way of asking for personal attention like grooming instead of food, or reminding you you're doing an awesome job and burning up fuel.

However, over eating is different than binge eating. ￼Binge eating is a disorder (most times goes hand-in-hand with bulimia) ￼that may stem from feelings of losing control.
