Hi ladies - cycle after miscarriage

Hi y'all! I was wondering if any of you ladies had a cycle only 3 weeks after a miscarriage. I miscarried at almost 8 weeks. This was my second loss. The first one was a chemical. It took longer then than this past time. On December 22nd my beta level was still at 42. Is this normal? My doctor told me 4-6 weeks. Has this happened to you?
