So me and my fiancé currently live in a different town but his family is from where my ex husband is from. We are looking at a house where my ex husband lives. Someone told me if we live close enough my ex can constantly just stop by legally. Also said he can take me for joint custody and won’t be able to move ever and he won’t have to pay child support because we live so close. Anyone have experience with this? Also if our divorce and custody was signed where I live will they keep it in that town or move it to where we are going to live if he decides to take me to court for joint?
