Anyone else’s toddler regressing in words they learn?

My kiddo only says 5-6 words everyday, and that’s bc he uses them to let us know what he wants. He knows more but doesn’t use them every day, only as needed. I don’t know if that’s consider regressing in speech. But like if he sees a dog, he says dog and barks. When he sees grandpa, he says andpa. I guess my question is what does speech regression look like in a child this young and what do you consider to be it? Would my situation be speech regression?

Thank y’all!
