Too early to test?

I’m 7 days post iui insemination. I’m experiencing on & off nausea, occasional breast soreness, fatigue, constipation, mood swings. I’m trying not to over think it especially due to all the fertility medications I’ve been on. I’m 4 days away from my period and not sure if it’s too soon to test. Maybe it’s just the tww getting to me.

The trigger shot is HCG, which is why you feel pregnant. 7dpiui is too early for real pregnancy symptoms, you likely have not implanted yet. I had early pregnancy symptoms with both of my successful IUI rounds and both times, it felt like early PMS. I had some slight heartburn on day 9/10piui which made me think that it worked. The trigger shot symptoms go away and then the real pregnancy symptoms start to kick in after your missed period (when your body has created enough hcg to cause symptoms). Typically you do not have very strong symptoms the day of your missed period, because hcg is still low (high enough to tell your body not to have a period). But everyone is different and certainly if you are hyper aware of your body or if you think you may be pregnant, the mind is a powerful thing. There were many cycles where I swore I was pregnant and I wasn’t. Good old psychological tricks! Baby dust to you! 💕
