Where’s the strings???

Question

So tonight I decided to feel for the strings of my IUD and I CANT feel them idk if they’re tucked under or off to the side which is why I can’t feel them but I’m freaking out! Should I try again tomorrow and if I can’t find them go to the doctors!? What should I do?

Answer

Try again tomorrow or in a few days. As your cervix moves up and down throughout your cycle you may have a hard time finding the strings some days. If you get to your period, and your cervix is nice and low and open and you still can’t find the strings, call your doctor.
Or, honestly, just call if you feel like you need to. Don’t wait if it freaks you out. String checks are way easy to do so if you want peace of mind, just call.
