Could I potentially pay child support?

So my child’s father currently pays under the child support he’s suppose to pay. Well I am currently in the process of moving with my boyfriend and we will be in the same town as my ex. I currently have primary custodial. Problem is with us living in same town he may take me back to court for 50/50. If this happens and I graduate with my degree and make more than him will I have to pay child support?
