Empty sac?

Question

Had my appt today, she decided to do a tummy ultrasound and all she found was a sac. Not sure yet if it’s an empty sac or if I thought I was further along then I am but I tested positive around what I thought was 4 weeks. So I imagine I have an empty sac. Has anyone gone through this? I have to have a vaginal ultrasound tomorrow but I’m pretty sure I’ve miscarried.

When i was 5 weeks i only had a sac and they couldnt located the baby or the yolks sac so by time i was 6 weeks they seen the yolk sac and no baby still so im hoping monday i will see a baby im 7 weeks now. So prays for you🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I was supposed to be around 8 weeks when I went in and turned out I was only about 5 weeks. I tested positive around 2 or 3 weeks. Only thing they could see was a gestational sac. Haven’t had an ultrasound since then but baby had a heartbeat of 157. Probably just earlier than expected. Did they reschedule you for a follow up?

At 5 weeks 3 days i had a sack and yolk sac praying on Febuary 8th i see a baby with heartbeat i will be 8 weeks it might just be too early hope your next ultrasound is better

That’s pretty odd that they didn’t do a vagina ultrasound off the bat especially being early. I’m with Kaiser and they don’t schedule expecting moms until 7-8 weeks.
