Girl?

From a 20 week ultrasound. I understand the arrow is pointing to the “hamburger lines”, but for some reason this whole view isn’t registering in my head? Like it’s not a normal “potty shot” where you can clearly see where the legs are. Would love to hear if you all agree this is a girl and if anyone can explain the angle to me.

Tech here! Looks like girl to me. The area surrounding the “hamburger” is basically booty cheeks. The legs aren’t in view here and i understand that definitely makes it harder to “get” what’s being pictured when you’re not used to looking at US images all the time. Unfortunately, we can’t force babies to cooperate! I’m sure the tech was doing the best they could given baby’s position and movement. Congrats!

I read about this. Apparently they look for 3 white lines for a girl! Which I can see clearly on your ultrasound. And only two lines for a boy.... that being said I’m a nurse and not a sonographer lol.

I’m not an expert by any means, but that definitely looks like a girl to me...as far as the angle it maybe from the side and if her legs are folded up towards her body they might not show in this particular position.
