I wanna update!

Robbie.

I posted in this group nearly a year ago feeling defeated because my husband semen analysis kept coming back with zero sperm. Well, we tried the retrograde ejaculation test thinking that it would be that, and it came back it wasn’t. I felt defeated but then our RE suggested that my husband see a urologist who specialize in male infertility. Within minutes of being in his office, he diagnosed my husband with congenital bilateral absence of the vas deferens (CBAVD). We were in such shock because he recently was told by a previous urologist (who did not specialize in fertility) that he felt his vas deferens upon exam, so we kinda ruled this out. The new urologist was very sure of his diagnosis and told us our next steps would be a PESA to attempt to get sperm to use with

IVF

. We agreed because at this point we were willing to try anything! They scheduled the PESA the very next week (July 2020) & went ahead with it and got SPERM!! 🥳 so from there we decided to go ahead with

IVF

and started in Oct 2020. Fast forward to Jan 6, 2021 we transferred one of our embryos (6AA non tested) and I got a BFP on 1/13/21. I officially go in for BETA tomorrow, but I am feeling very hopeful!! I wanted to come be a light to someone who needed some extra encouragement. I never thought I would see this day!! I had to follow up to my original post “I need a happily ever after story”.. NOW I finally got mine 💗
