Possible Ovulation Spotting?

Has anyone experienced this before? Have been doing a bit of reading- seems this could be a good sign of fertility?

I am on month two ttc, both months two days before ovulation I have two days of brown spotting. Doc says it's normal!!

I am also having ovulation spotting ( I think) for the first time. 
​I never have any spotting between my periods but yesterday and today I've noticed very light pink spotting in my underwear and in my CM. Last cycle I ovulated at CD20. Today is CD18... I haven't had a positive OPK yet but I'm hoping to get one any day now.

I think I experienced ovulation spotting for the first time this cycle. It just lasted for a day (maybe 6 hours?)
