Why do people invert test pictures?

I see a lot of people edit their tests to the “invert” filter. Just wondering why?

Because it’s gives them false hope lol inverting the picture will also show an indent or an evap. So if u can’t see an obvious pink line with the naked eye, then Just retest in a day or two rather than driving yourself nuts inverting and editing the picture to find a line.

It’s easier to see Vvfl when it’s inverted if they’re really there. But sometimes I can show watermarks and evap lines, I heard to turn it to black and white and if the line is there in black and white it’s probably real
