Bottles??

Anyone use Avent bottles???? I'm putting my registry together and was wondering how other mamas felt about them :)

I use avent, they're great. Haven't had any problems at all :)

We have some but I prefer the MAM anti-colic ones. They have air holes in the bottom and a rubber insert to allow air to go up and out of the bottle instead of being swallowed by baby. Yes it's another piece to clean but it's not a big deal and you can sterilise them in the microwave really easily using the lid as a measuring cup. The teats are a good shape and made of a silk silicone. You can get packs of three bottles in whatever size and colour you choose on Amazon, as well as sealing discs and extra teats for when you need a different flow rate. My LO has been using them and the Avent since his first week and gets on better with the MAM. They're also really cute.

I tried them with out daughter, and the ones we had (maybe there are different kinds in that brand), had a ring your placed before twisting the top/nipple on. Well when I was super tired or spacing out and would forget to put that stupid ring on, breastmilk/formula everywhere (I'd be in the verge of tears when it was breastmilk!!) it drove me nuts.
So I switch to Tommy Tippy, love them!! I'm planning to use them again with this one

I was encouraged to use avent by one of my friends so we got the starter set and I also got a starter set of medela bottles bc Thats the pump I am using and avent bottles don't fit on there. See what your baby prefers

I got joovy boob but they make too many bubbles so I was worried since my son is already gassy so I switched to dr Browns and there's no bubbles at all !

Yes my 2wk old is breast and bottle fed and we use the advent naturals but we had to buy the super slow newborn nipples(#0) because the slow size 1 nipples are to fast for her and she chokes and spits up with them.
