Spit up crazy

Help! My 4 month old baby boy is a crazy spitter! Talked with the Dr and she wasnt concerned because he is gaining weight perfectly. He is on AR formula and we even add rice cereal to it but he still is spitting up from the time he gets his bottle until the time he needs to eat again! He always smells and we go through bibs, blankets and clothes like crazy! We are currently using the Avent anti colic bottles...Anyone have any recommendations for anything that might help, even a little?

No advice just condolences- my son has terrible reflux as well. Spits up what feels like his entire bottle. He’s gaining weight so the doctor isn’t concerned but it’s exhausting. He is constantly wet and I am constantly changing him.

My baby does the same thing. Spits up from sun up to sun down. All day. Everywhere. Excited? Spits. Sad? Spits. Sit him up? Spits. Lay him down? Spits. He has occasional phases where it’s not as bad. I love those days 😂

My daughter is a happy spitter, occasionally not so happy but she’s gaining weight so doctor isn’t concerned. I tried so many formulas and the only one she doesn’t spit up much on is Good Start gerber soothe, still spits up but not near as much on any other ar formulas.

I've had one who spit up, and the other just had silent reflux. Spit up is WAY better. As for the smell, make sure you wash and dry the neck, and look behind the ears, too. I wash the neck folds, dry with cornstarch or baby powder, wipe it away and protect/heal.the skin with Desitin. It's messy, but it works. When you're not going full bath, you can use a warm washcloth or a wipe. Don't forget to check behind the ears!

I hope mine will soon too. Some days lately he’s been going really good and then other days it’s so bad
