Idk why people recommend the pill so much. You have to take it at the same time every day or it loses its effectiveness. So unless you're really good at taking meds on time, I'd say get something else.

I've had two different pills and nexplanon implant. I like my newest pill the most. The first one I had my body hated and nexplanon was great besides my constant spotting/periods for months. Everyone reacts differently to birth controls. However I feel like the shot is always pretty bad for most people so stay away from that unless all other methods fail.
