Pregnant and fired...

I’m 13 weeks pregnant, due July 25 and I told by supervisor a few days ago I was expecting. My boss just happen to also be pregnant, due a week before I am. My current contract for my job is up June 30. I was informed yesterday that my contract will not be renewed. I live in an at will state (Maryland) so contracts really don’t matter that much. I was told I would not be returning for another year because my position was being redesigned and apparently I didn’t fit the qualifications.

I was told last year that this contract was only going to be 1 year but with COVID-19 there are no jobs and I thought they would consider. I also work for a religious nonprofit so I won’t qualify for unemployment.

Is there anything I can do? What should I do?
