Can you slowly lose mucus plug?

I’m 36w5d pregnant and today when I wipe, most of the time I’ve had clear slimy/stretchy discharge only in really small amounts.

Yes I did towards the end of my pregnancy it wasnt bloody so I wasn’t too sure at first

I lost mine in small bits until the larger bloodier chunks came out ( sorry tmi) by the time the first large piece came out I was about two days away from labor. I had bloody show one morning and a baby in the evening. I had one come out all at once around 36 weeks and 4 days later had my baby. I think the plug can regenerate so I never think too much of it unless it's a good amount and or fresh blood with it.
