Progesterone post miscarriages

Hi All, I have had 3 back to back early miscarriages, around 6 weeks. I have had all the testing done and everything looks ok.

My specialist has recommended as soon as I find out I am pregnant that he will put me on progesterone. Everywhere I’ve read though, mostly start progesterone around ovulation time and don’t wait until they are actually pregnant. This is a new specialist who I was seeing as I was going through my 3rd miscarriage, the specialist prior to that never checked my progesterone. Each time I have fallen pregnant very easily and I am due to ovulate next week. Should I be chatting about starting progesterone earlier rather than after a positive test? I am curious to hear everyone’s experience with this.
