Getting rid of feed to sleep?

Question

How do I stop feeding to sleep? She doesn't really fall asleep on the boob anymore, but it's become part of our naptime and bedtime routine to breastfeed right before sleeping. I want to still breastfeed her, but also want to start weaning. 
How else am I supposed to get her sleepy before nap time or bedtime without breastfeeding? Just rock her with a pacifier?

Following! We are mid-transition to whole milk from formula so once that battles over I’m going to focus on stopping “feeding to sleep.” The transition to toddlerhood is so tough 😫

We did sleep training. Before sleep training, we started moving the feed to 20 or 30 min before bedtime and did it in a lit room so it wasnt part of the routine, then we would rock her to sleep. Now that shes sleep trained she sleeps through the night and usually puts herself to sleep in 5 or 10 minutes. She goes into the crib fully awake.

That's what I did. I bathed, fed, read a book, then implemented rocking to sleep. I now moved away from rocking and can sometimes put wide awake in her crib and she will settle to sleep. This is after sleep training for several weeks.

Have you had a bedtime routine? Does she take a bottle of any other milk? Maybe give her a bottle during your normal breastfeeding time before bed. 
My son used to fall asleep during breastfeeding until he was about 8months old. But we’ve always had a good bedtime routine of bath time, breastfeeding, then reading a book and brushing his teeth before I put him in the crib and he does pretty good falling asleep on his own. Good luck!! 💕💕
