Sooo I was going to wait to transition my son to his toddler bed until after our newest arrives and he's closer to 3, but I totally forgot what c-section recovery was like and that I won't be able to lift him in and out of the crib if we have to go that route again. That being said, give me all your tips and tricks to making the transition easy. The toddler bed has been in his room for over 6 months now (we got it for free when we started ttc) and so he lays in it to read books and such, but hasn't totally shown interest in sleeping there at night. Should I switch them out and see what happens? How long did it take yours to stay in and sleep through the night? I'm worried we're moving too soon, but I'm not going to risk my own health later down the line and have to switch him immediately later on and turn his world even more upside down.
