BIRTH CONTROL RECOMMENDATIONS ?

I’m not planning in getting pregnant any time soon.. what birth control do you guys think it’s best ? And not high in side affects...

Side effects are different for everyone, some get them some don’t. But I had no issue with the arm implant! I didn’t have periods though, but honestly I wasn’t complaining lol. I had the depo shot before: also no periods but that made me gain a lot of weight that was hard to lose

I did a lot of research on this before deciding to actually discuss it with my doctor. Both myself and my doctor agreed on the mini pill. It is only progestin hormone. I have only been on it for 3 days though so I can't tell you about any side effects yet (although they will be different for everyone).

Depends on what you mean by anytime soon. I had an IUD for 3-4 years before TTC. If we were planning on waiting that long again, I might consider another one. I don’t know anything about the arm implant. If you’re thinking you might try again in the next year or two, I’d suggest condoms or birth control pills. To me, anything that gets implanted in you should be more of a long term thing.
