Any parents here sending your baby to daycare currently?

It's such a difficult decision thanks to Covid-19. But my daughter is SO ready to socialize and learn (beyond what I can really do at home while being pregnant with baby #2) that I can't keep her at home longer.
For those who said "yes", how are you handling/overcoming this emotionally? (I'm talking more about the paranoia of your own kid catching the virus.)

He was home with me for nearly 5 months at the onset of the pandemic and the way I dealt with it was that working from home with him was a total nightmare and I was about to lose my ever-loving mind, so I had no problem with him going back to daycare because I was about to have a nervous breakdown! Lol. I’m exaggerating a little, but not much. I do understand the worry and anxiety about it. My husband and I talked about it a lot, but we felt good about the precautions his daycare was taking to keep the kids safe. So far there have been 2 exposure incidents at the daycare, but they’ve immediately shut down and professionally cleaned. It’s just a necessary risk at this point. We don’t really have another option and I feel like if he were to get it, he would probably be like most kids and fight it off very well. I’m more worried about him getting it and giving it to my asthmatic husband, honestly. He loves daycare and says, “friends! Friends!” every morning as we pull up. At the end of the day, it’s just a risk assessment and I feel okay that sending him to daycare is a risk we’re willing to take.

My 18 month old and 3 year old have been back in daycare/preschool since July. No problems.

My son started nursery (day care) last September. 
I’m a teacher so it’s important that I continue to work because schools are currently open for vulnerable and key worker children where I live. My husband works away for his job and there’s no other adults in our household. 
Both the school I teach in and my son’s nursery have lots of precautionary measures in place.

My son only goes the days I commute to the office (2-3 days a week). He goes to the center that I used to work at and my mom currently works at. I know all the staff and he's comfortable there since he's know them since he was a little baby! We are very blessed in that we had an established relationship with this center pre-covid.

My daughter has been in daycare one day a week since 5 months. We had rsv at 7 months, and HFM once. I got covid myself and she never developed symptoms.

My daughter went to daycare from about 3 months until covid and she loved it. I worked in a salon before covid so I was home with her while work was closed. When we reopened we decided I’d stay home as long as I can with her. I am super nervous about other parents not being honest about who they are around and my daughter keeping her mouth off stuff. Plus I worked in the same building and knew the daycare workers on a deeper level of just dropping off and o noticed when parents weren’t they were too laid back with masks and stuff for me so I feel like we made the right decision. I talked to her dr about feeling bad she is missing out and she said she would be home too if possible that yes covid isn’t hitting kids real hard but they also don’t know enough about it to say it won’t cause problems later. To me I’d rather her be a little behind socially now than end up with asthma or something later that won’t be as easy to fix.
