Married/Divorced

Long story but please read and give me some feedback. Me and my SO is getting a divorce cause he had anger and controlling issues. He use to yell and curse at me but stopped when I told him I couldn't tolerate it. There was one incident where I talked to a ex of mine that I known for 14yrs and I did hide/lie about it but after he found out I stopped. However that same incident kept coming up in argument and it got so bad to a point where I told him I need space. He stopped me from visiting my family due to the pandemic but it was ok for him to visit his family and have them come over. We separated for a week an I told him I think we should go our separate ways that this marriage isn't going to work. He agreed so the apartment lease is in his name and I went out for a few nights when he had came back home. He went through all my documents took whatever he wanted, he took my laptop and deleted a bunch of things website, password, photos etc. He doesn't want to sign over the vechile to me cause the loan is in his name. I can't believe a person i loved would stoop so low I'm at lost for words.
