Contractions

I will be 38 weeks on Friday with my second baby. I had an emergency induction at 37+4 last time so I never experienced contractions prior. I had my bloody show yesterday morning, probably around 10am. Since 4am this morning I have been having contractions that last about a min and are about 7 min apart. I was finally able to force myself back to sleep at 6:30am and had a few that were bad enough to wake me up. I am still experiencing the contractions about 7 min apart and they are quite painful. I am due for an induction on the 28th due to preeclampsia but I’m thinking now she may be coming before that. I guess my question is, do I keep waiting it out for them to get closer and stronger or do I at least call my OB at this point to let them know what’s going on? I feel like a FTM all over again since I never went through this part with my son 😂 TIA! 😊
