Birth control advice

So my 6 week pp appointment is next week and I know we are gonna talk about birth control. I told my husband that I do not want to get on birth control because I’ve never heard anything good about it. He told me that’s completely fine it was my choice. We discussed him getting a vasectomy because we do not want anymore children. His doctors appointment isn’t until March and I can’t help but think that maybe I should get on birth control until then because I really really don’t want to get pregnant again. I just don’t know what to do. Any advice?
