Late period possibly experiencing implantation bleeding?

So my period is just over 2 weeks late which it’s never late and I took multiple pregnancy tests and all were negative. Yesterday I started spotting brownish blood and had mild cramping then it turned to more of a very light pink. Over night and this morning it is now a more pinky red and almost a thin stringy consistency of blood and a bit heavier but not flowing and I’m still having mild cramps. I am planning to get a blood pregnancy test but curious if anyone else has experienced this and did it turn out to be your period or implantation bleeding??

If your period was 2 weeks late, with negative tests, then you most likely ovulated later than predicted, which would result in your period showing up at a later date as well. Implantation bleeding is only said to be the cause of any early pregnancy bleeding when the source or cause of the bleeding can’t be found or determined. Most likely, this is your period trying to start.

When I had that general experience, it was my period. Sounds too heavy to be related to implantation.

Implantation bleeding cannot happen later than 12dpo. If your period is 2 weeks late it definitely cannot be implantation bleeding.
