Bassinet + Pack n Play Recommendations

Question

I’m thinking of a bassinet for baby in our room and a pack n play for the general area of our apartment. we have a one bedroom right now so not looking to get a crib as of right now (baby is due in september and our lease is up in January 2022 and then we’re looking to upgrade to something bigger). what recommendations do you have for a bassinet and pack n play? ftm here so any (nice) advice is welcomed! tia 🥰

We love this one. Goes against the bed and you can fold down one side. Pockets and storage for diapers, extra sleeper, sheets, etc

This is the bassinet we are using. It’s reasonably priced and can be folded up when not in use. My only complaint is that it does sit a little bit low, so the first couple weeks post partum, I did sometimes have some difficulty reaching baby, but that was short lived and otherwise we love it. I love that it folds up, though. I have taken it from our bedroom to the living room a few times. Otherwise baby is either being held or sitting in her swing. Baby is almost 6 weeks old and I haven’t even touched our pack and play yet.

I had this for my second and she loved it she slept in the bassinet for a while then eventually the bottom part. She started sleeping through the night at 8 weeks and the bassinet is portable so you can take it around the house it’s really nice.

For bassinet, I recommend the portable Ingenuity brand one. It folds in the middle for easy storage and travel. It is also deeper and wider than some I’ve seen. I liked that it had mesh sides too. The legs can be positioned to rock or be stationary. It comes in lots of cute patterns too. 
For a playpen we got a hexagon one on Amazon. It’s larger than a normal rectangle one, but it does have a soft, padded bottom, so baby can’t sleep in it.

I’m getting this for my baby I’m a first time mom and a bassinet was a must for me but everyone told me that the babies grow out way too fast and so I looked for months and found this a connectable bassinet and reversible rocker, a changing station, when the baby gets older it has a deeper bassinet so the baby can’t climb out and then it has a playpen/crib for when they grow out of that as well so I’m investing in this because it’s a long term item that has many different uses

I’m thinking of getting a used bedside Halo bassinet in our bedroom. For the living room I’m looking at 4moms breeze playard + bassinet. It’s similar to Graco’s pack n play but more compact and travels better. I’m also looking at other brands like Guava and Joovy. I don’t think we’ll get a crib either because even though we have a 2-br apartment right now, one of the bedrooms is being used as an office/guest bedroom. I just don’t know how comfortable it is for baby to sleep in the bottom part of the pack n play though! Do I just bend down and put the baby to sleep in the playard? Our lease ends on my due date (May) I just don’t know what to do!

This was by far the best buy of all our baby items. You can nurse then to sleep and zip up the side. It has a bassinet attachment. We loved this and used it as lo crib until we moved to a real bed

The changing station is a time saver, no need to go up and down the stairs to change baby!
