Tongue Tie..

So at birth we were told that our son had a bit of a tongue tie. They never really mentioned anything more of it, didn’t fix it, nothing (as he was latching good for feedings)

Over the last week, he has been somewhat fussy and struggling at the breast, not all the time, but more times than not. I was thinking it may be because of the tongue tie.

Our family doctor took a look and said it was a very small tie, and referred us to another doctor that can snip it

Watson is now 6 weeks old and we go tomorrow to have that procedure done, and I am freaking out a little. He has been a bit better on the breast now so I’m thinking it may have been just a faze, and may not want to put him through the procedure.

Have any of you mommas had their babies tongue tie snipped and what was the process and recovery like? I just worry that’s all....
