Pregnancy/possible COVID exposure
My MIL & SIL (23 years old) currently help me to watch my 2 year old son. My SIL works part time caring for an older woman in her home.
She recently had been quarantined waiting on 2 COVID results, that both came back negative. Well, they are making her test again since she sounds sick but still carrying the lingering symptoms from the last tests and still wanted her to work this time.
My older SIL tells us that I shouldn’t take my son to my MIL now because the younger SIL could have COVID. I’m pregnant and I completely understand what she is saying but at this point we were all exposed to her today.I don’t want to take my son else where, if we were exposed and possibly expose another sitter. Should I be calling into work? Currently my employer doesn’t make you stay home unless you’re showing symptoms or pending COVID results. I’m torn on what to do. My younger SIL immediately quarantined again since her employer requested for her to get tested but we are alL possibly exposed if it’s positive.
I’m all over the place. Do I stay home with my little one? If I call in it counts against me since I’m not technically sick. Do I even have my MIL watch him still since he was with her all day today?
