I made an appt because my stitches were so uncomfortable & had them cut out. This was about 3 weeks postpartum. The knots were rubbing against against my vaginal tissue & causing so much pain.You can probably ask your OB to take a look & remove!
After birth
Hey ladies! So I had my son a month ago on the 19th and I tore while giving birth so I got stitches and they are still there is that normal? They are just hanging out in long pieces like they are going to fall out but haven’t. They were supposed to dissolve awhile go I’m so confused someone please help! It is also a little score still where I got my stitches so also wondering if that’s normal?

I didnt get stitches, but from what my nurse said about your vaginal area hurting , it'll take some time to heal . I just had my baby last month and it took me 2 almost 3 weeks to recover. I'm feeling a little better than I was before but it does take some time to heal tho . Take really good care of your body !

Yeah I feel great everything is fine it’s just my stitches won’t dissolve they are just hanging there & the pain only comes if I mess with it like when I’m trying to check them! But yes I’m most definitely taking care of my self you do the same girl!
