Hey gals so basically my doctor prescribed me fluoxetine which is an antidepressant I got the prescription and my mum was supposed to go to the chemist to get it for me over a week ago. I was terrified to bring it up because to be honest i was ashamed and didn’t really want to take it because i knew the side effects. When i built up the courage to ask about it my mum told me it was something we had to discuss with my dad. But is it up to my parents if it’s been prescribed? I haven’t told anyone directly not even my dad I’m assuming my mym told him. So I really need some advice as to how to ask because I’m going bac lot school soon and I really want to be on the right track and I know meds won’t fix everything but will make some things easier. What do I do? Do I do nothing??
