Started bleeding today after confirmed Missed Miscarriage

while i was searching for which options o go for missed miscarriage , it started naturally just now and its a lot of blood at once. after difficult week of uncertainty on my pregnancy to be viable or not. i was confirmed today that baby stopped growing 3 weeks back. It was a lot of blood at once that i had to run to the bathroom. is that how it starts? sorry, i dont have anyone to discuss with. At what point to think pf going to ER, which i would avoid due to unnecessary exposure to covid .
