Best & safest convertible car seat you love?

My daughter is 8 months old, she no longer fits in her infant carrier car seat, so looking to buy a new one. Any suggestions?

We have the Graco 4-ever one and love it. Our son has been in it since 1 and is almost 3 now.

We have a graco in my car and a maxi cosi magellan in my husbands...he had a smaller car and graco was not working well space wise. I like the maxi cosi way better..as does our kid..but they are more expensive and as the graco works fine it will stay in my car since he drives her way more as the stay at home dad. When current pregnancy arrives will probably buy 2 more maxi cosi seats honestly though.
