Ghosting? Hasn’t blocked me on anything?

Sooo, I had pretty good sex with this guy twice and he’s very affectionate. However he explained a few weeks ago his grandma had a dementia incident. He hasn’t texted me in a week. We had good conversations and I quite like him but wouldn’t cry if I never hear from him again. The first week we “met” online he actually matched with me on tinder and then liked me on Hinge too 🤪 I have his number and his snap. So far he hasn’t unmatched me or blocked me on anything so far. Do some guys ghost and not sever contact by blocking?? I don’t know what happened and he hasn’t opened my snaps from last week.
