I found out on 1/21 my baby had no heartbeat. D&C is scheduled for 1/27. In between the tears I asked the scheduler if I could have “a drink”. She put me on hold to talk to a nurse and came back and said no because it can mess with the antibiotic. I’m not on antibiotics now. I’m afraid she thought I meant can I have a drink the day OF, and not can I drink between now and then (probably not 24 hours before the procedure). It’s Saturday and they’re closed. Can I have a beer today?
