Sleep positions?

I've heard that we are not supposed to sleep on our backs or a certain side, as it cuts off blood flow from the placenta I think? I have an anterior placenta, sooo does that change things? I've been the most comfortable on my back lately, but I'm nervous.

doctors recommend sleeping on your left side as your belly gets bigger. sleeping on your back can put a lot of weight/pressure on the vein that carries blood to your heart.

I try to not sleep back through the whole pregnancy but my doctor didn’t tell me not to until a few weeks into my third trimester with my first. I remember waking up on my back sometimes but I have a very large pregnancy pillow to help keep me in a comfortable position. Lol

My doctor said don’t sleep on my back after 16 weeks. I find myself rolled to my back sometimes, and j just roll back onto my side. 🤷🏻‍♀️
