I feel like it’s easier to tell your friends than your family for most people but I told my family first. But now I’m out to everyone :)

I’ve only told my step mom, and the small amount of people me and her hangout with (5)…my other family are all homophobic and hate anytime I bring up anything LGBTQ+, as for my friends they are all Christian’s and don’t support it. I’m bisexual and genderfluid btw.

I told my friends and my sister (bisexual) first.  My family is very conservative Christian so I was more nervous about them.
My boyfriend took the asexuality the hardest (only because he was shocked and is heterosexual and just didn’t know what that was or what it meant for us)  but now he is one of my biggest supporters.
At this point I’m 100% out to my parents (who we now know are acephobic and biphobic) and two of my cousins (who are amazingly supportive and in the community as well).
I’m technically 100% out to everyone because now that I’m comfortable being a biromantic asexual I don’t go out of my way to hide it , but I’m not sure if the rest of the family has put the dots together or thinks I’m just an ally.
