Can baby go overnight without a diaper change?

Question

My two month old baby slept through the night, so she went 9.5 hours without a diaper change. I want to set my alarm tomorrow night to ensure she has at least one feed/diaper change if she does it again. My husband says we should sleep if she sleeps and not to wake her. Can she go all night in one diaper? Will she get an awful rash? Feeling like a pretty terrible parent here. 🤦🏻‍♀️

If it's just wet and she didn't leak it's fine. Only poo needs changing over night

It’s fine to go all night in a wet diaper. Please do not set an alarm to wake your baby, change your baby, and feed your baby if baby doesn’t need it.

If there are no health concerns/weight gain concerns then they are fine to sleep through the night without a change as long as it’s not a #2. I wouldn’t worry about setting an alarm- you want to encourage the extended sleeping!
Just ensure you use a really absorbent diaper at night, you can also put on a little barrier cream to prevent rash if it’s a concern).

She is fine without a change if it’s pee. I don’t wake mine. At 2 months they’re okay to sleep through the night without an extra feed or change as long as weight gain is still okay.

Only change the poop. If baby wakes up then give them a change. 
Also, a little Aquaphor to act as a barrier would be fine.

You can try to gently change her before you go to sleep for a peace of mind. That’s what I used to do with my daughter so she won’t pee thru her diaper bit she was about one year old. She never slept for so long at that age so if u can change her without waking her up, I would go for it.
