I usually have quite long (7 days), very heavy and very painful periods. This month, my period came 2 days late, except it lasted 3 days. 1 day very light salmon colour discharge, only when I wiped. The other 2 it was dark brown discharge, heavier which required a pad. It then just stopped over night and its completely clear? I've had absolutely no pain, which is odd as I usually have cronic pain which codeine can't even touch.

What could this be? My partner and I have had sex (pull out method, which I'm aware isn't protection). I'm not expecting this to be pregnancy but I'm just curious why this could have happened? Do I need to speak to a doctor perhaps?
