No breakthrough bleeding after starting birth control

I started birth control for the first time after ending my period a day before on January 11, today is January 25 so it’s been two weeks since I began but I haven’t experienced breakthrough bleeding. Is that normal? I take it everyday at 11pm just one day (January 23) I was an hour late but i know it’s still effective. I’m on Chateal. Also yesterday I had sex and my boyfriend came in me for the first time and I don’t know why I’m feeling like ovulation cramps. Is having that also a symptom of the pill?
