He spit in my face during an argument

We were arguing and he got so evil and low that he actually spit on me. He claims it’s bc spit flew on him and I had to know it was on purpose and as I’m there washing his slimy funky spit off of my face crying I’m telling him no if we are in an argument face to face and a few drops touch you clearly that is not on purpose who does this to someone, he says it’s my fault I got what I deserve. I told him i am done that was too disrespectful this man actually gathered spit in his mouth and spit it onto my face. He decided to apologize around 2 lastnight I said okay but I am still done there is no way I can be with someone so horrible.
