So I’ve had my copper IUD for about 6 months now and before then I had been using my organi cup for almost two years with no issue at all. I expected my period to be heavier after I got the IUD which is definitely the case but I will still get abnormally timed leaks even right after I empty a barely full cup! This is so frustrating not to mention gross as I’ve ruined some of my underwear expecting the cup to hold after the heaviest day is over and it doesn’t. Usually after the first three days it is very light and i stop getting these leaks but it’s so frustrating. I also know for sure every time i reinsert the cup it is fully expanded and sealed. I never had problems with it before like I said.
