Preconception visit?

Has every one who is TTC, gone to a preconception dr appt? Does it do any good? It is really necessary? Thanks (:

I also did it with my annual!

I did. Just to make sure everything was ok and good to go. Your obgyn will be able to tell you if everything is normal. They suggest to start taking pre natal vitamins when you start ttc.

I combined my preconception appointment with my annual.  It's a good chance to ask any questions.  Also, my doc confirmed my vaccinations were up to date.

My obgyn said it's not necessary unless there is a problem. I'm a little Leary of that advice but oh well

I think it's a good idea. They'll check your hormones and make sure everything's in working order =)
